We’re looking for compassionate, reliable, and organized individuals to join our growing team of tutors and academic coaches.

At Parker River Tutoring, we help students reach their academic potential while also supporting their growth in essential life skills—like time management, organization, and self-confidence.

Currently Hiring: Math Tutors (Middle School through Calculus & Statistics), Science Tutors (Biology, Chemistry and Physics), Writing Tutors, Reading Tutors, History Tutors and Academic Coaches

About the Role

This is not just a typical tutoring job. Our Academic Tutors typically work with students on subject specific areas (Math, Science, History, English) and infuse organizational and study skills along the way. Our Academic Coaches take on a slightly different role where the subject specific work is dealt with through the lens of guiding students through both academic challenges and executive functioning development.

We’re seeking individuals who:

  • Have experience working with students (in tutoring, camps, classrooms, or similar settings)
  • Are patient, positive, and encouraging
  • Enjoy helping students get organized and stay on track
  • Understand how to balance accountability with empathy

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting students with academic planning, study skills, and organization
  • Helping them manage their workload and follow through on responsibilities
  • Creating a supportive environment where students feel seen and motivated
