One-to-One Test Preparation Programs
SAT/ACT Preparation (One-to-One)
The SAT and ACT are the top college entrance exams taken by high school students in the U.S. The tests vary slightly in how they are divided and each has a different style of test question. We help students figure out which test is best for them and we personalize each tutoring session for your student's individual needs. By working in a one-on-one setting, we focus efforts exactly where your student needs to work and formulate a strategy for each individual.
Independent School Entrance Exam Preparation
SSAT, COOP, ISEE and HSPT are the top four independent school entrance exams used by schools across the country. These tests are used not only to gain entrance into private schools, but also to determine academic capabilites, placement in class levels and, in some cases, merit based scholarships. We work with students to maximize test scores in order achieve their best on testing day.
The PSAT/NMSQT (or National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test) is an important test taken in October of junior year of high school. This test is a taken as preparation for the SAT as well as to qualify for the National Merit Scholorship Competition. Students work from a test prep book and work on practice sections between tutoring sessions.
SAT/ACT Bootcamp (1, 3 Hour Session)
A comprehensive workshop for last minute tips and tricks for the SAT. Reinforces what students may have learned previously about the test or can be a great jumping off point to start the process for private tutoring.

Limited number of Spaces (Low Student to Teacher Ratio)
The Massachusetts Test for Educator Licensure, or MTEL, is broken into a few different tests depending upon the license the individual is looking for. In general, there is a Communication and Literacy skills test, as well as an individual subject test. We target areas for potential teachers to work on and create a plan of attack to maximize scoring for the MTEL. Our success rate for helping teachers pass the MTEL for the past 6 years has been extraordinary.
